The Ras Al Khaimah police – traffic and patrols department, have referred 25 students enrolled in one school for driving without a license.
The underage students were all caught in one day as part of an inspection campaign launched against a school in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Col Ali Saeed Mohammed Al Alkeem, who is the Director of the traffic and patrols department of the RAK police, said that the students were nabbed at the beginning of their school day.
The students were stopped while driving without a license on Sunday morning.
Police have now urged parents to prevent their children from getting involved in such grave risks that have reportedly ended the life of some other young kids who had been driving without a license.
The department has been alerted about a large number of underage kids who have been driving in this manner, Col Alkeem stated.
As per the directives of the commander-in-chief of the RAK police, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the department stopped all the students at the same time.
Some parents are reportedly aware of their children driving their vehicles without a license while the others are not.
RAK police will be deploying more inspection raids at all schools and around other areas of the emirate to curb such risky violations.
